Incoming High School BASEBALL Tryout Date
DATES: Monday July 6th from 3:00- 6:00pm on the Foothill Varsity Baseball Field
COST: No Cost – Just send in the Summer Registration Form
From this tryout Coach Brown will select the freshman team. Those not selected for the team at this tryout or those not able to participate in this tryout can tryout during the first week of the school year before Coach finalizes the freshman team roster.
ROSTER: Coach Brown makes ALL DECISIONS on those that make the freshmen team and all players that enter the baseball program. No matter what you’ve heard or others believe . . . the goal is to always get the BEST players no matter what their previous team or club affiliation might have been.

Knights Youth Baseball Pre-Tryout Camp
The Knights Youth Baseball Program will hold a pre-summer baseball tryout camp to help incoming 9th graders prepare for their high school tryouts. These workouts will be conducted by Coach Vince Brown and are open to all 8th graders that want to get additional skill and team practice.
DATES: Weekdays - June 8th, 9th, 10th from 5PM to 6:30PM &
The Weekend Workouts have been Cancelled for June 13th & 14th and are Rescheduled for Monday June 29th and 30th from 5PM to 6:30.
Summer Games - July 1st at 10AM vs. Villa Park at Villa Park High School and July 3rd at 10AM vs Villa Park at Foothill. Arrive by 9AM for the games.
Freshmen Summer Baseball Camp
DATES: June – August - Actual dates & times still to be determined.
COSTS: $125
GAMES: A few freshmen games will be scheduled, the schedule will be posted in early June. There will also be a few “intra-squads” in July. Transportation is not provided to games played off site.
WEIGHTS: 10 to 11AM Tuesday & Thursday Mornings – June 23rd – August 27th – the strength program is “baseball”
*Note: the summer program is optional. However, playing with your coaches and teammates is extremely important in the building of a team and program. If financial assistance is needed please let me know. Coach Brown

If you are selected for the freshman team you are making a commitment to one of the top high school programs in Southern California. Our program has a tradition of excellence and we play the best teams in and out of season. Here are a couple of important things to know.
Our regular season runs from March to the middle of May. We expect our players to be available for practice and games Monday-Saturday during this time period. Sundays are off days. While there will be other days off here and there we expect the athlete to be available during the regular season for all team functions. Vacations are strongly discouraged; there will also be a Spring Break Tournament that the athlete is expected to attend.
Fundraising is necessary to run our program at the level we would like. This past season we fundraised over $50,000 outside of what we are provided by the school/district. There are no mandatory fees but without the fundraising efforts of our families we cannot fund our program
